The Inside Track on Derby Drinks

On the first Saturday in May, the “Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports” captures the attention of horse lovers and party lovers alike. The Kentucky Derby—run consecutively since 1875—is steeped in traditions like singing “My Old Kentucky Home” and adorning the winner with a blanket of 554 red roses.

Of course one of the most popular traditions is sipping the classic mint julep in its customary silver cup. Whether you’re hosting a Derby watching party or just want to sip a cool julep on your porch, Spec’s has the inside track for all your Derby Day drinks.
