SXSW has started, and Spec’s is ready to celebrate music in rock-star style! Here are some delicious recipes that’ll keep you ready to rock…even if you’re staying in. All of these recipes can easily be multiplied so you can make a batch for your whole band!

Drum Solo

1 oz pepper vodka
juice of ½ lime
dash of grenadine syrup

Shake ingredients in an ice-filled cocktail shaker, then strain into a shot glass.

Up All Night

1 oz tequila
½ oz rum-based coffee liqueur, such as Kahlua
½ oz vodka-based coffee liqueur, such as Tia Maria
1 oz cold espresso
chocolate shavings, chili flakes, and orange peel for garnish

Rim shot glass with an orange peel, then dip rim in chocolate shavings and chili flakes. Mix liquid ingredients in an ice-filled cocktail shaker and strain into glass.

Indie Cred

½ oz bourbon whiskey
½ oz Sambuca

Shake ingredients in an ice-filled cocktail shaker, then strain into a shot glass.
