One of the biggest joys for a wine enthusiast is finding a fine Bordeaux to enjoy drinking or collect. But what happens if it’s produced in a limited amount? Or becomes so popular, the price rises dramatically?
The solution—Spec’s Bordeaux futures. You’re guaranteed excellent Bordeaux wines that you want at pre-determined prices.
Here’s how it works:
Spec’s fine wine connoisseur, Bear Dalton, visits Bordeaux every spring during Premieres Week to taste the most recent vintage prior to the wines being released for sale as futures.
Bear selects only the Bordeaux that meet Spec’s standards, based on quality, sales history, cooperation and local preferences. For 2014 vintages, he selected around 100, all of which he scored in the 90s. Why? Because Bear believes they are seriously good. In his words:
“2014 Bordeaux will give more drinking pleasure than the best vintages. A lot of the 2014s I tasted in May were so good already, I would have been happy to have them with dinner that night.”
Spec’s is honored to offer the best to our best customers. Plan now and purchase your favorite Bordeaux to enjoy in the future.
