While the origins of golf are often debated, it is generally agreed that the modern game, played over 18 holes, originated in Scotland. To celebrate the game, here are a few great Scottish-style ales that are sure to be a hole-in-one!

Belhaven Scottish Ale
This is a classic Scottish-style ale from Belhaven, one of the oldest breweries in Scotland. It has a rich malt profile with just a touch of hops. With a modest ABV, Belhaven Scottish Ale is a smooth and flavorful ale that is light enough to enjoy throughout the day.

Brewdog 5 AM Saint
This is another beer from Scotland, but diverges from the traditional Scottish ale as a red ale. It has a sharp scent, and its high carbonation and full hops make it an incredibly refreshing beer.

Bear Republic Red Rocket
An American-brewed Scottish-style ale, this is a full-bodied and hoppy brew that finishes on the palate with sweet, caramel flavors. With a creamy head and a deep red color, this beer has big hop and big flavor.
