Slam Dunk Selection!

The NBA playoffs are in full swing, and we are excited that all three of Texas’ NBA teams will be fighting for the championship. No matter which city you call home or root for, we’ve got what you need to get ready for game day. We’ve put together a list of some of our favorite craft beers from Dallas, Houston and San Antonio. So grab your favorite hometown brew and see which Texas team comes out on top!

Dallas
Deep Ellum Dallas Blonde
This is a delicately balanced and bright golden ale with citrusy and floral American hops. With Pale, Vienna and Wheat malts, it is a crisp and refreshing ale that just goes down easy.

Lakewood Hop Trapp
A Belgian-style IPA, this beer is decidedly malty and complex. It has a bitter backbone with floral hop that are followed with notes of citrus and yeast.

Houston
Saint Arnold Lawnmower
A true German-style Kölsch, this beer is crisp and refreshing. It has a sweet malty body and a citrusy hop character. It has a clean flavor and is an easy choice for a hot Texas day.

Karbach Rodeo Clown Double IPA
We recommend you take this double IPA slowly. This is a complex brew with flavors of sweet malts and earthy hops. A long, lingering dry finish rounds out this tasting experience.

San Antonio
Alamo Golden Ale
This is an American blonde-style ale with bready scents and grassy, earthy hops. The lightly peppery hops add a nice edge to the soft beer for a balanced flavor. A firm bitterness completes this refreshing sip.

Ranger Creek Mesquite Smoked Porter
This porter is brewed with a Texas twist, using malt smoked in-house over Texas mesquite. It is a dark mahogany porter with a velvety mouthfeel and subtle hop spice – a well-balanced choice for any Texas day.
