The State of Texas Spirits: Yellow Rose Distilling

Texas is fairly new to the distilling world. But as soon as Texas opened its doors to distilling, it became a major player in the industry. One of the pioneers is Yellow Rose Distilling, the first legal whiskey distillery in Houston.

Like its namesake, Yellow Rose Distilling is blossoming. Its blended whiskey won a Double Gold medal for Best Blend in Show at the 2013 New York Wine and Spirit competition.

Yellow Rose Blended Whiskey is a smooth drinking whiskey with plenty of heart. It has a nose of fruity banana with hints of caramel. With a touch of sweetness it has a full flavor with a medium finish. Try it on the rocks or in one of these Texas-inspired cocktails!
