More Ways to Impress the Relatives!

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, we put together a fall beer selection of a few of our favorite ales and pumpkin brews for you to enjoy this season!

Fermented Fun Facts

Beer is the most popular alcoholic drink in the U.S.

On average, Americans drink 6.3 billion gallons of beer per year or 67,221,000,000 12oz beers. That’s right, we drink over 67 BILLION beers per year!

Based on beer sales in the U.S. two weeks prior to each holiday, Thanksgiving ranks higher than the Super Bowl, Easter and Halloween, and ties Christmas with approximately 52 million cases sold.

Nebraska Wick For Brains

This painstakingly produced fall ale uses real pumpkin instead of spice to create its sweet flavor. Wonderful pumpkin pie spice intertwines with amber ale to create an elegantly crafted pumpkin sensation.

Shipyard Pumpkinhead

This is a crisp and refreshing wheat ale with delightful aromatics and subtle spiced flavor. Try it with a shot of spiced rum or in a pint glass rimmed with sugar and cinnamon!

Upslope Pumpkin Ale

A custom blend of six spices rounds out the flavors in this highly anticipated seasonal beer. Adding organic baby bear pumpkins to malt and hops truly makes this a local farm to brewhouse collaboration!

Rogue Dead Guy Ale

This award-winning ale is a delicious hybrid style, with bock-like maltiness and ale-like hopping. Generous toasty malt aromas and earthy hops follow through on a moderately full-bodied palate with fruity accents and a long, spicy hop finish.

Samuel Adams Harvest Pumpkin Ale

Real pumpkin and warming spices like ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg give this brew a smooth, hearty, and inviting character perfect for the crisper days of fall.

Spec's

Owned and operated by the same Houston family since 1962, Spec’s is a true destination shopping experience. We now operate over 150 stores all over the great state of Texas and offer a large selection of wines, spirits and finer foods.

  1. I’m looking to see if I can obtain a case or two of a craft beer out of Allentown/Bethlehem PA. from the Fegley Brew Works. The web site is: http://www.thebrewworks.com/brewery/seasonal-beers/rude-elfs-reserve/ and the specify brew is their Rude Elf Reserve. I know that Specs does import various craft beers from the Pennsylvania/New Jersey area and would like to find out if one of y’alls contacts or distributors can obtain some Rude Elf Reserve?… Thanks, Wayne Brumback
