2011 Cru Classé Bordeaux Tasting

Attention Dallas! This Tuesday, Spec’s will host over 30 Bordeaux chateau owners and winemakers, presenting 60 mostly Cru Classé Bordeaux wines from the 2011 vintage in a walk-around-style tasting format.

The tasting will include a spread of artisanal cheeses and breads chosen to help absorb the wines and refresh the palate. Riedel Degustazione Glasses will be used for the wine tasting. Valet parking will be available.

Ingredients: Directions: Rim a cocktail glass with lime wedge and dip into chili salt. Fill with ice. In a shaker, muddle the lime juice, mint leaves, agave, and pineapple.  Add the tequila, Cointreau and fill with ice. Shake well and strain into cocktail glass and garnish with a pineapple wedge and mint leaves, as desired.
