Make It A Tea Party!

As far as self-respecting Texans are concerned, any day when the temperature strolls above 80 is an Iced Tea Day. The quintessential quencher for sultry summer days, there’s only one thing that beats freshly brewed tea in a frosty pitcher. That would be a frosty glass of iced tea with some spirited enhancements!
Below we’ve pulled a few recipes to nudge your imagination past the usual sugar and lemon. Before you settle in for some serious porch time, sashay into your nearby Spec’s to make sure you’ve got all the concoctions that’ll suit you to a ‘T’!
Peachy Keen
Ingredients
3 oz Peach Schnapps
1 oz iced tea
Preparation
Pour schnapps into tall, ice-filled glass and top off with ice tea.
Summer Daze
Ingredients
1 oz coconut rum
1 oz iced tea
1 oz lemon lime soda
Preparation
Pour all ingredients into an old-fashioned glass and stir. Add ice and enjoy.
Grandfather T
Ingredients
1½ oz Grand Marnier
3½ oz iced tea
¼ oz Lemon juice
Lemon wheel for garnish
Preparation
Pour all ingredients in ice-filled shaker. S
hake well then strain into highball glass with fresh ice. Garnish with lemon wheel.
Tea-quila
Ingredients
1 oz tequila
8 oz iced tea
Preparation
Pour both ingredients in a tall ice-filled glass, stir and enjoy.
