State of Texas Spirits: Sweet Tea and Vodka

Are you a sweet tea fan? How about a sweet tea vodka fan? Yeah, we thought so. This month, we’re highlighting two of the many things that Texas does well – sweet tea and vodka. Luckily for us, there are two Texas distilleries churning out this delicious treat.

A Texas favorite, Deep Eddy Vodka hailing from Austin, Texas, makes a sweet tea vodka that is hard to resist. Made with all natural ingredients including pure cane sugar, clover honey, spring water and black tea, you can’t go wrong with this choice! It’s so good you won’t even need a mixer. Looking for something simple? Give this recipe a try!

Another Austin native, Graham’s Texas Tea has a milder nose than most sweet tea vodkas. It is a fresh blend of Nilgiri black tea, turbinado sugar and spring water straight from the Texas Hill Country. Its darker, sweet notes really come out during the finish and will leave you wanting more. Enjoy it straight or in this classic recipe.
