State of Texas Spirits

Over the last few years, Texas has increased its presence in the world of craft distilling. And if there’s one area Texas has proven itself, it is in creating delicious vodka. So this month, let’s take a look at two of Texas’ finest vodka distilleries.

Dripping Springs Vodka is the definition of a handcrafted Texas spirit. Nestled in the Texas Hill Country, Dripping Springs mixes its vodka with the pure, mineral-rich artesian water from the springs of Central Texas. It is then micro-distilled over 20 times in small batches using handmade copper pot stills, creating a smooth, balanced vodka that is perfect for sipping.

If you travel further north to Denton, you’ll find North Texas Distillers, a small craft distillery famed for their De Los Vodka Made from Texas wheat, this vodka is distilled in a vacuum still and is the only vodka in Texas to use this kind of still. The result is a clean and flavorful vodka that is made with “the heart of Texans in mind.”

Whichever vodka you choose, you can be sure these are Texas-born and Texas-bred!
