Green Glen
A refreshing, and much lighter alternative to the usual St. Patrick’s Day beverages, this gin and herbal cocktail is spring green in color and carries a cilantro kick.
Ingredients
- ¼ cup Seersucker gin
- ¼ cup dry vermouth, preferably Noilly Prat
- ½ tablespoon green Chartreuse
- 5 cilantro leaves
- 3 tablespoons apple juice
- 1 tablespoon celery juice
- Dash of lime juice
- Nasturtium flowers for garnish
Directions
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the gin and cilantro and shake.
- Add the vermouth, Chartreuse, apple juice, celery juice and lime juice and shake well.
- Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with nasturtium flowers.
Emerald Isle Martini
A unique take on an old classic. Made with green chartreuse and citrus vodka, this is a real St. Paddie’s Day delight.
Ingredients
- 2 ounces UV Citrus Vodka
- ½ ounce green Chartreuse
- Lemon twist for garnish
Directions
- Fill ⅔ of a pint glass with ice. Add the vodka and Chartreuse. Stir briskly for 30 seconds to chill.
- Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with the twist.
Irish Cowboy
Bold, minty and with a hint of cream in the texture. This festive recipe will brighten your St. Patrick’s day faster than you can shake a shillelagh.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ ounces Redbreast Irish whiskey
- 1 tablespoon Baileys Irish cream
- 1 tablespoon crème de menthe
Directions
- Shake all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice, serve in a chilled glass.
The Ugly Leprechaun
Ugly is a bit harsh. We’d say this drinks got ‘character’. The texture of floating kiwi seeds and fruit pulp, give this leprechaun a unique look and tangy zip. A delightful deviation from the ordinary St.Patrick’s Day beverage.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ oz Grey Goose vodka
- ½ oz Jameson Irish whiskey
- ½ oz Midori melon liqueur
- ½ oz simple syrup
- 2 oz kiwi puree
- Pulp of 1 lime wedge
- 1 lime or kiwi wheel for garnish
Directions
- Combine ingredients with ice in a martini shaker. Shake then strain into chilled martini glass. Garnish with a lime or kiwi wheel. Serve and enjoy!
