Texas is becoming quite well known for it’s traditional mid-western spirits such as vodka, tequila and whiskey, but there’s a new arrival on the Texas spirit scene… and it brings with it a fresh new taste of the Caribbean!
Introducing the Witherspoon Distillery. Founded in 2011 by fifth generation Lewisville native, Quentin D. Witherspoon, the distillery produces three popular libations – River Rum, Texas Straight Bourbon Whiskey and Single Malt. While they are all delicious, Texas-bred choices, Witherspoon’s River Rum has quickly gained popularity and won multiple awards.
River Rum is full-flavored with hints of vanilla and butterscotch. Its recipe of sugar cane and molasses gives it a warm and smooth finish that will please even the toughest of critics. Enjoy it straight or try it with friends in this delicious cocktail!
