Naia Verdejo – Rueda, VT
$170.40 / case(12)
Origin naia was conceived with the idea of finding and making verdejo wines that are profoundly varietal elegant and distinctly full on the palate. And naia captures the essence of this variety. The winemaking process followed in this wine is very respectful with the classic aromas of the verdejo variety and it is aged in its own lees for 4 months in vats and wooden tanks with the aim of improving the structure and density of the wine on the palate. Vintage: 2016 characteristics of the vintage: the 2016 vintage was a late and generous one with great quality rueda wines thanks to the grape’s excellent health and optimal maturation. The rainfall experienced in autumn and winter helped us maintain a water reserve that has been essential in the vines overcoming a hot and dry summer. The result: structured wines with delicate aromas and a long aftertaste. Winemaking 85% fermented in stainless-steel vats and 15% in french oak tanks with a capacity of 10 000 litres.
