100% sauvignon blanc (sauvignon-musque clone 530 and clone 1) grown at 1780-1800 feet in elevation in one of the coolest climates in lake county in gravely-sandy loam soils. Whole cluster pressed indigenous yeast fewrmentation non-ml in a mixture of stainless steel and old oak barrels. Sur lies aged for four months in 60% neutral oak 40% in stainless steel. Green straw color with well formed legs; dry medium-bodied with freshly balanced acidity and scant phenolics. Delicious fresh ripe citrus with some tree fruit. Layered and complex with a mineral earth and leesy richness. Bearscore: 91+.
