Tech note: 13. 5% alcohol. A blend of 80% cabernet sauvignon with 12% malbec and 8% petit verdot aged 18 months in both french and american oak barrels (25% new french oak). Sensory note: purple in color with well formed legs; dry medium-ull-bodied with balanced acidity and medium-chewy phenolics. Big juicy ripe with a fine focus. As much black as red fruit with notes of tobacco cocoa earth and oak. Bear note: shockingly good for the money. Bs: 91.
