In producing our range of American Single Malt Whiskeys Westland looks to adopt the same basic raw materials and processes used for generations in the old world but we don’t simply seek to replicate the results. Instead we work to create whiskies that reflect the distinct qualities of their time place and culture in the Pacific Northwest. Westland Sherry Wood is our interpretation of one of the worlds most popular styles of Single Malt Whiskey. Using our five-malt spirit to complement the vibrant sherry influence of the casks we ship whole from Spain; we create a whiskey that is decadent but still gives the barley an equal voice; something rarely done in Scotland.
