Glen Moray Elgin Classic Chardonnay Cask Finish Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky

The Glen Moray Distillery has released the latest expression of its award-winning Speyside Single Malt range: The Glen Moray Classic Chardonnay Cask Finish. This distinctive Speyside Scotch Whiskey Single Malt available in a gift box was launched in January 2016. 40% ABV This new Glen Moray release is an unusual offer of a Speyside Malt. With its Chardonnay taste profile it makes a distinctive and alternative whiskey to the normal style of Speyside Single Malt Whiskies. The influence of the Chardonnay adds body sweetness and spice to the existing sweet vanilla and light oak flavors of the Elgin Classic which results in a completely new taste sensation. Graham Coull from Glen Moray Distillery called the new Speyside Malt ”A perfect balance of caramelized fruit butterscotch and lingering notes of toasted oak. Tasting Notes: Color: Old gold.
