CBD IS A RAPIDLY GROWING INDUSTRY.
CHECK OUT THE KEY FACTS YOU NEED TO KNOW:
Hemp production & sale has been federally legal since 2018 when Congress passed the Farm
bill, de-scheduling Hemp (cannabis sativa with <0.3% THC) from the Controlled Substance Act
Marijuana and Hemp are entirely different plant varieties with distinct
physical characteris, growing cycles, and most importantly – legality
CBD (cannabidiol) is a compound found in the hemp plant and this compound
interacts with receptors in our body that promote homeostasis (regulation of bodily
functions like mood, appetite, sleep, digestion, and inflammation)
The hemp-derived CBD industry is growing rapidly and projected to
reach $15B in sales in the U.S. by 2025
CBD can be consumer in a beverage, in gummies, in an oil/tincture,
in capsules/supplements, and in other food forms
Hemp-derived CBD does not make you high.
You can drive, work, focus, and complete all your normal daily tasks
THINK OF CONSUMING/USING CBD AS PROVIDING YOUR BODY A “SUPPLEMENT” OF ADDITIONAL ENDOCANNABINOIDS, BEYOND WHAT THE BODY CAN PRODUCE BY ITSELF.

EXTRACTION PROCESS
Solvent Extraction uses ethanol to dissolve and separate extracts (like CBD) from plant materials; the mixture is then heated until the ethanol evaporates, leaving only the plant extracts behind
CO2 Extraction uses a machine to prepare carbon dioxide into a supercritical from that can move through materials like gas but can dissolve materials like a liquid; this CO2 then dissolves and separates plant extracts in a manner very similar to ethanol in the Solvent Extraction process
