Curbside FAQ

  • How does Curbside work?
  • When you place an order online, you’ll select a pick-up location and time. Arrive at the store at your chosen time, pull into a designated Curbside parking space, and text 313313 with the number on the sign. Your order will be on its way to you soon!

  • How does In-Store Pickup work?
  • When you place an order online, you’ll select a pick-up location and time. Arrive at the store at your chosen time. Please go into the store and look for the designated in-store pickup area or ask to speak to the manager on duty.

  • Do all Spec's locations offer Curbside?
  • Unfortunately, Curbside isn’t yet available at all Spec’s locations, but we are working to provide this option at more locations. We do, however, offer In-Store Pickup at most stores. We also offer delivery options via Instacart, Drizly, and our new app. Check them out to see if one is available in your area. Our app is available in the Apple App store and Android Play store.

  • What if one of my requested items isn’t available?
  • If one or more of your items aren’t available, we will let you know via text message. We want to make it right. So, we’ll give you the option to approve or decline one of our hand-picked substitutions for you.

  • What is the substitution buffer charge for?
  • We will pre-authorize your card for the initial order amount plus 15% to allow for approved substitutions if the product you originally requested is not available. Your card won’t be charged until you authorize the total at pick up.

  • Why didn't I get the chance to approve or decline my substitution?
  • If you missed the text, you can still accept or decline any substitutions at the time of pick up.

  • What do I need to bring when I pickup my order?
  • Please have your order number and your valid ID for age verification ready at pick up. Order status alerts will be sent to the pick-up phone number provided at purchase, or to the customer billing phone number.

  • Will my refrigerated items be cold at the time of pickup?
  • If the items are perishable, they will be kept cold until you arrive.

  • When can I pick up my order?
  • Orders are available to pick up from 11AM – 8:30PM on the day and time you selected. Orders not picked up within 48 hours of the pickup date will be returned to inventory, and your order will be cancelled. Don’t worry – your card will not be charged.

  • Can I use a gift card or Key Club ID / Card for my Curbside / In-Store Pickup order?
  • Our system is not able to accept gift cards or Key Club discounts at this time. You can, however, enter your Key Club ID phone number at checkout to receive your Key Club points.

  • Can I still get a cash discount when using my debit card for a Curbside or In-Store Pickup order?
  • Our cash discount is not available on our website. However, we are constantly making sure we offer you the lowest prices possible.

  • Can I cancel or change my Curbside or In-Store Pickup order?
  • You can cancel at any time, unless your order has been processed. If you need to change your order, you can call the store to change or remove an item.
    At this time, we do not have the ability to add items to your order after it has been submitted. Please either place a second curbside order or call the store to place a new order and pay inside upon arrival.

  • What if an item I want is not available?
  • If you don’t see a specific item at your selected store, that store does not have it in inventory. You are more than welcome to call your local store for in-stock recommendations.

  • Who do I contact if I have any questions?
  • Please email curbsidesupport@specsonline.com. Be sure to provide your Curbside or In-Store Pickup order number.

  • Legal
  • Must be at least 21 years of age. You are opting to receive text messages from Spec’s. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Text STOP to 313313 to cancel.

Step 2: Choose Your Store

Enter your zip code and then choose your preferred Spec’s location.
Please keep in mind, not all stores offer Curbside.

Step 3: Shop

Select your items and they will be added to your shopping cart.

Step 4: Checkout

Confirm your order, pick up time, contact information and payment.
Be sure to include the mobile number for the person picking up your order, too.

Step 5: Order Confirmation

Receive your confirmation text and email. We’ll notify you by text about any substitutions for your approval and when your order is ready.

Step 6: Arrive at Your Designated Time

CURBSIDE: Reply with your parking spot sign number to the confirmation text you received.
IN-STORE PICK UP: Follow the signs inside to the In-Store Pickup counter.

Step 7: NOTIFY SPEC’S STAFF

Step 8: Complete Your Order

CURBSIDE: Present your ID and confirm payment to the Spec’s Curbside attendant delivering your order to your vehicle.
