Malt liquor is often malaligned for its low price and associations with hip hop. If you look past the stereotypes and the price, you’ll be pleasantly surprised to find out that Mickey’s is one of the best budget beers on the market. Keep in mind, I’m someone who enjoys quality beers like Westmalle, Guinness, Modelo and Budweiser. In fact, Mickey’s is actually one of my favorite beers right next to Modelo. Taste wise, Mickey’s like most malt liquors is sweet with very little hops. Mickey’s specifically has a nice fruity flavor with a dash of hops. It’s a very smooth drinking beer and goes well with just about everything. If you haven’t tried Mickey’s yet, you’re missing out. Grab yourself some and get stung.
