2XO Two Times Oak by Dixon Dedman Tribute Blend Bourbon is a one-off small bath release known as the Icon Series where Dixon re-barrels his hand selected aged whiskey into new charred oak barrels to create extraordinarily rich and complex flavors. This is the 3rd release within the Icon Series which is a combination of one low rye bourbon mashbill (16%-18%) and one high rye bourbon mashbill (35%) and new charred oak barrels in both #3 and #4 char levels. Aromas of butterscotch cinnamon caramel and vanilla with hints of plum and cherry. The flavor has an initial sweetness with a savory middle and spice on the back. 90 points and Gold Medal in the San Francisco International Spirits Competition 2024.
