A luscious and rich expression from the Livet region of Speyside. Tomintoul a relatively young distillery in Ballindalloch on the Glenlivet Estate has been producing fine whisky since 1964. Often producing a spirit with sweet rich raisin and sugar-barley character Tomintoul is one of the more approachable single malts from Speyside. We have chosen to bottle this expression at cask strength. 53.9% ABV This Alexander Murray Tomintoul is distinctive and pleasing like a good dessert – approachable and not too challenging. Great after dinner. Matured in ex-bourbon casks.
