It is the world’s first ‘Spirit of Vermouth’ wherein we are giving our customers everything that is in traditional Sweet Italian Vermouth (including the Wormwood for which Vermouth is named via its Latin name Wermut) EXCEPT the wine. 44% ABV 88 Proof The imbiber simply mixes 1 part BALSAM with 3 parts red wine. It works with everything from a fruity Malbec to a luxurious Barbaresco. Once mixed it can be used just as you would use a fine vermouth such as Carpano Antica Formula in a Manhattan or Negroni.
