My family was scrambling to use up all our remaining cocktail ingredients to avoid hauling them back home. We had leftover bourbon cream ice cream vanilla ice and maple syrup. In a moment of creative inspiration we threw it all in a blender and – presto! – we had Bourbon Milkshakes. We discovered our concoction tasted great in coffee root beer floats in a variety of cocktails and even in baking.
