The Butterfly absinthe is a reproduction of an American absinthe produced in Boston is the early 1900’s right before the ban. Thanks to a partnership between a passionate American absintheur and a Swiss distiller this absinthe has been brought back to life. Therefore it benefits from both a historic recipe and Claude-Alain Bugnon’s expertise a very well known distiller we don’t need to introduce any more. 65% ABV The Butterfly absinthe is characterized by its potency and its complex aromatic palette especially on the citrus and spices side. Notes of lemon mandarin and also mint are to be found in the Butterfly. Whereas it has an exotic profile it leaves enough room for the fabulous wormwood from the Val-de-Travers. A truly appealing American-Swiss absinthe!
