Definition: aged rum with a two-stage maturing process. Production: first resting for ve years in the Caribbean inside American oak casks. Later shipped to the facilities of the Williams & Humbert winery in Jerez (Andalucia – Spain) where it undergoes the nal stage of ageing which lasts for three years in casks which have previously been used to age the international award-winning sherry Dos Cortados with a guaranteed age of 20 years as certified by the Denomination of Origin Jerez-Xeres-Sherry. 40% ABV Tasting Notes: Dividing the aging process into two different stages converts Dos Maderas 5+3 into a very special aged rum which is unique in the world with a bouquet avor and aromas which are hard to compare.
