Hints of the classic JD nose that is sweet charred oak and nutmeg. Palate: Medium viscosity. Burnt sugar and baking spices with pronounced nutmeg. I feel like there should be more here for a big barrel proofer. Finish: Bitter short and hot with a noticeable drying affect on my tongue and mouth.
