Kooper Family Rye is a premium blend of handpicked rye whiskeys married in small batches and slowly matured in 8-year-old Bourbon barrels under the big blue Texas sky. Its carefully blended with pure limestone-filtered Travis County spring water and aged in the Texas Hill Country; a moody powerful and prolific whiskey aging climate. 40% ABV 80 Proof Tasting Notes: Nose: Rye spice with subtle fruit notes of raisins and apples. Butter spice and dill. Palate: Brown sugar smoke rye dark fruit with some dill mint anise and tobacco flavors. Taste: Rye and spice wood and black pepper. With a spicy sweet caramel apple aftertaste.
