Myers’s Legend 10 years rum is a 100% Jamaican pot still rum which has been aged for at least 10 years. Deep copper color with an orange cast. Intense buttery caramel corn toasted nuts chocolate truffle dried cherry and marzipan aromas are exceptional. A velvety entry leads to a very smooth sweet and oily full-bodied palate with deep flavors of chocolate-covered cherries and figs rich brown spices almonds leather and toffee. Finishes with a long sweet and rich finish of caramel vanillin spice and dried stone fruits. An unusually aromatic and flavorful aged rum that borders on liqueur with strong bourbon and port barrel influences. Interesting and certainly unique but perhaps a bit much.
