Stranahans Sherry Cask whiskey is double-distilled 100% malted barley aged 4 years in virgin American white oak barrels; then transferred to Oloroso Sherry barrels from southern Spain to cask finish. It is aromatic with over-ripe cherry sweet apples raisins almonds leather and fresh-cut hay. Its flavor has notes of honey Montmorency cherries blackcurrant and fig with nutty brine and walnut characteristics. Best enjoyed neat with a splash of water or in cocktails. (47% ABV 94 proof)
