The Whistler Dark Symphony Irish Whisky is aged for 4-years in first fill ex-bourbon barrels for the body and warm flavors and finished in casks holding VSOP Cognac which were lightly shaved and toasted for 90-minutes to pull spices plum and candied notes from the Cognac influence.
