Westland Garryana

In producing our range of American Single Malt Whiskeys Westland looks to adopt the same basic raw materials and processes used for generations in the old world but we don’t simply seek to replicate the results. Instead we work to create whiskies that reflect the distinct qualities of their time place and culture in the Pacific Northwest. Westland Garryana 5|1 is the latest release in the Distillerys native oak series using Quercus Garryana a species of white oak indigenous to the Pacific Northwest. Edition 5 has a higher percentage of Garry Oak casks in the blend than any previous edition. Combining pale malt spirit with only peated spirit it is also the simplest in construction. But that simplicity belies a depth of character that marries the unique flavors of each to create something altogether new.
