However the presence of Pinot Noir is important in the town often in sandy areas that marl. TASTING On the nose this Chassagne-Montrachet reveals a pretty flowery bouquet aromas of hot croissant or brioche and candied lemon; aging it evolves to spicy nuances and roasted hazelnuts. Frank and elegant in the mouth it is fleshy and well balanced. The finish is long scented with floral notes and gingerbread.” – Maison Albert Bichot
