However the presence of pinot noir is important in the town often in sandy areas that marl. Tasting on the nose this chassagne-montrachet reveals a pretty flowery bouquet aromas of hot croissant or brioche and candied lemon; aging it evolves to spicy nuances and roasted hazelnuts.
