Beckmen Cuvee Le Bec Red

This blend of 50% grenache 28% syrah 15% mouverde and 7% counoise was cold soaked and then fermented in open top tanks utilizing pigeage (punch down) cap management with malo lactic frermentation following in barrel . The blended wine stayed in barrels (15% new french and 85% neutral) for 15 months. The result is a frankly delicious red offering the complexity of a rhone cru and the ripeness of mclaren vale grenache with a juicy texture and a rich feel in the mouth. The balance of red and black fruit is enhanced with notes of white and black pepper earth and rich spice. Satisfying while retaining a refreshing feel. Excellent. Bs: 91 vhr.
