Chateau Tour St Bonnet is a famous Cru Bourgeois estate located on 40 hectares of pristine vineyards at the northern end of the Medoc. Its gravel plateau is perfectly suited to Cabernet Sauvignon while Merlot Malbec and Petit Verdot are also grown on the property. Wines here are typically aged in large used oak casks instead of smaller barriques which helps avoid imparting too much influence from the wood while drawing out complex flavors and softening tannins.
