This wine comes from the Symingtonfamily’s Douro Valley vineyards in NorthernPortugal and in particular from those whichtraditionally supply the House of Dow’s oneof the family’s premier Port marques. Formany years the Vale do Bomfim red winewas made by the family solely for their ownenjoyment and to serve to visiting guests whose repeated complimentary remarks andencouragement led to the wine’s launchcommercially.
