”Forever roaming for the best quality grapes and soils our winemakers have returned home to create this brilliant highly drinkable specimen. Dark red cherries plums and cinnamon spice fill the nose while the silky juicy tannins leave a delightful lingering aftertaste. A wine that goes with any occasion! IN THE VINEYARD: The Shiraz was harvested from trellised vineyards in Paarl and Stellenbosch. The Mourvedre is primarily from dryland bush vines in the Swartland with a small percentage from vineyards in Stellenbosch. The juicy Grenache noir is from Piekenierskloof and from our vineyard in Paarl. The Carignan grapes are from dryland bush vines in the Swartland. The Petite Sirah also known as Durif is from decomposed granite soils grown in our trellised Paarl vineyards. All the grapes are 100% Fairtrade. HARVEST DATE: The grapes were harvested during February and March 2016 WINEMAKING: The grapes were destalked and lightly crushed into stainless steel tanks. Each grape var
