AGING Aged for 12 months in French oak barriques (50% new and 50% used). NOTES The estate of Le Pavoniere in Bolgheri was acquired in 1999. It borders the famous ‘Bolgherese’ road along which all of the famous vineyards are located. It covers approximately 20 hectares and it is planted to Cabernet Sauvignon Cabernet Franc Merlot and Syrah. Capriolo is Italian for ‘deer’. TASTING NOTES A classic Bordeaux-style blend from the Bolgheri area. Deep ruby red with an intense bouquet of small black fruits and spices. Full bodied with smooth silky tannins that lead to an elegant finish.
