100% Chardonnay from below Santenay. Tank fermented with indigenous Malo-lactic fermentation occurring naturally in both vat and barrel with daily battonage for one month to add texture and a bit of creaminess. The wine is fined and lightly filtered prior to bottling. Straw color with well formed legs; dry medium-bodied with freshly balanced acidity and scant phenolics. Good clean fresh lively more citrus than tree fruit but both are present with minimal oak influence and a defying beam of minerality. BearScore: 90+.
