”The 2016 Shiraz is a blend of 80% Shiraz (or Syrah) and 20% Tempranillo. The wines were fermented separately and blended after completion of fermentation. This wine is medium bodied with smooth tannins and spicy jammy flavors. In order to enhance its fruit forward aromatics and to add vanilla spice the blend was aged with 15% new French oak until it was bottled in May of 2017. Serve slightly chilled with most anything off the grill or with your favorite pizza. Drink now through 2019.” – Llano Estacado
