The wine a blend of 33% Cabernet Sauvignon/32% Merlot/5% Carignan/5% Grenache/25% Syrah that is half destemmed and half whole cluster and then fermented in all stainless-steel tanks using carbonic maceration. It is then aged for 12 months on the lees in 60% tank and 40% in 2-year French oak. Tolosa offers red color with well-formed legs. It is dry and medium-bodied with balanced acidity and medium phenolics. The wine is supple juicy and ripe that is almost succulent with darker red and black fruit. It is deep and satisfying with a juicier texture than I am used to in a lower priced Priorat. BearScore: 91
