Higher than average rainfall through winter and up to veraison followed by lower than average rainfall until the end of harvest contributed to easy extremely healthy ripening. 2010 was a short logistically challenging harvest (due to simultaneous ripening) with low yields wonderfully high natural acidity and dense complex concentrated fruit flavours. Like 2009 another excellent vintage. Wine style Made reductively in order to maximize the fruit personality of the vintage the 2010 shows more marked fruit aromatics than usual while maintaining the typical Southern Right balance of Old World minerality and length with hints of New World palate coverage and body. 2010 is a wine that favours origin expressive individuality mineralit
