Stephen Vincent Cabernet Sauvignon

Trying to pin down what a california cabernet sauvignon should taste like is awfully difficult given the wide range of styles found throughout the state. Different growing regions different climates different soils all make for unique flavors and aromas. In this case our winemaker robert goyette pulled together the best wines he could from paso robles southern monterey county and mendocino county and made a masterful blend combining the best from each region into a seamless wine with loads of flavor. This cuvee is a blend of 45% paso robles 38% monterey county and 17% mendocino county fruit. Even though there might not be a distinct california style this wine has awesome written all over it. Winemakers notes aromas of black cherry baker’s chocolate and cigar box on the nose. Raspberry and blueberry pie filling flavors are predominant up front.
