Treana is inspired by the Spanish word for a trio of natural elements and for this reason it is our flagship wine representing the trinity of elements that make Paso Robles an exceptional region for growing wine grapes: the sun soil and sea. The Paso Robles AVA provides an abundance of sunshine during the growing season creating idyllic conditions for growing world-class wine grapes. Arguably the most important element the soil of our home is one of the most unique and diverse of any growing region in the world. The sea both attracts us to this most beautiful region and creates ideal growing conditions. Our proximity to the Pacific Ocean which sends cooling breezes every afternoon causes large diurnal temperature swings from day to night which preserves the natural acidity in the grapes.
