This hand selected single cask of The Whistler Irish Whiskey was initially matured for 10-years in ex-bourbon barrels and then finished for 21-months in a Plantation Barbados Rum cask. The result of this dual process yields sweet molasses and brown sugar aromas with a light maltiness and a touch of oak on the finish. From cask number 1415.
