Indiana Rye whiskey is brought to Texas where it is aged in our warehouses then finished in old Port Wine Casks. The Texan sun influences the rate and strength of flavor imparted into the whiskey. Some casks take longer than others. The team tastes the casks regularly until optimal flavors are achieved. At 94 Proof this ruby colored rye whiskey has a nose of chocolate and dark fruits such as black currants and black berries with a long and lingering finish.
