Sugarplum Spritz

Ingredients:

  • 4 oz Texas South Wind Plum Wine
  • 8 oz dry prosecco
  • Dash of bitters
  • 2 Tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup
  • 2 oz maraschino cherry syrup
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • Garnish: course sugar and sugared plum slice

Directions:

Rim glass with simple syrup and course sugar.

In a cocktail shaker, combine wine, cherry syrup, lemon juice, and bitters. 

Fill shaker with ice, cover, and vigorously shake until outside of shaker is very frosty, about 20 seconds. 

Fill prepared glasses with ice. Strain cocktail into glasses. 

Top with prosecco.

Garnish with sugared plum slice.
