Introducing Athyr Cedarwood Finish a bold and spicy expression double-aged and meticulously crafted to orchestrate an extraordinary journey through uncharted flavors and scents. Initially matured in Lebanese oak to infuse enchanting notes of black forest honey figs and roasted coffee it then undergoes a full year of finishing in cedar wood. This cedar wood finishing imparts an intense layer of baking spices including pine licorice root nutmeg and cinnamon elevating the tasting experience to unprecedented heights. As water is added the premium whiskys opalescent transformation reveals the fine and rich oily esters inherent in cedar wood. Scored 88/100 in the 2023 fall issue of Whisky Advocate magazine.
